Are you learning English? Thank you for reading my blog every day! The more you use English, the more you become confident in your English. So it's very good that you have started reading something in English. Even though my writing here is very simple, as you know, it's better than nothing!
Yesterday, at the end of my previous blog entry, I explained why I recommend my blog to Japanese people.
It is because I don't use complicated words, phrases or grammar compared to native English speakers. Also, I always put Japanese subhead to each paragraph so you can easily grasp the idea of the topic before you start reading English.
Once you get used to read my English, don't hesitate to take a step to the next level! Here I introduce you some great websites that offer you a good English reading practice.
Personally I like Tofugu's website very much. The website has a wide variety of unique and substantial English articles about Japan. For example, the article about 20 Differences Between Japanese and Western Schools was really interesting for me.
2. The Oatmeal
When you don't have enough motivation to study English, especially when you're tired at the end of a day, read the funny comic by The Oatmeal. Your smartphone can be a good English learning tool while you are in your bed at night, and you will still learn a lot before you sleep.
3. News in Levels
On the first time when you visit News in Levels, you might have a chance to take a "1 minute level test" which pops up on a screen, and if you sign up after the test you can receive new story every day according to your English level. I highly recommend it!
If you want to learn English, it's important to make a real English conversation with someone. So please don't hesitate to leave me a comment or have a conversation with others on my blog. Thank you for reading till the end, see you next time!
